Marden’s Eco Committee had an exciting opportunity to visit Wellington Garden Centre. They asked local schools to decorate one of their Christmas trees with eco decorations handmade using discarded items for a Christmas tree showcase that they are holding in-store.
The Eco Committee decorated a tree with decorations made by each class, had a tour of the store, and were lucky enough to have a hot chocolate and a cake! Wellington Garden Centre also kindly gifted the school with gardening supplies for us to use in our allotment.
The Christmas tree showcase will remain on display throughout the run up to Christmas so please go and have a look!
