Children develop by being active and creative in their learning. At the setting we believe that every child is unique and our aim is to cater for every child’s individual needs and learning.
At Marden Pre-School we provide an environment in which all children are supported to reach their full potential. Our setting is on one level and is fully accessible to all children and parents/carers.
Each child is allocated a key person when joining the Pre-school.  They help children to settle in and form positive relationships with others. Through interaction with adults and children they will develop a wealth of early learning skills, which will enable a smooth and confident transition to primary school. We have very strong links with Marden Primary Academy and work with them prior to transition to primary school. For children that go on to Marden Primary, we run transition periods helping achieve familiarisation with the staff and the school building.
When our son started at Marden Pre-school he found it very hard to be separated from us. The staff at Marden Pre-school worked very hard to help us with the transition and went that extra mile to reassure us our son would be fine. (Thank you Paula for your texts / phone calls to let us know he was o.k.) We would also like to thank you for all the hard work, effort and passion you put into running a lovely pre-school.
