P.E. & Sport.

PE in Marden Primary Academy develops the children’s knowledge, skills and understanding, so that they can perform with increasing competence and confidence in a range of physical activities.

The teaching of PE at Marden Primary Academy gives all children the opportunity to develop practical skills in order to participate, compete and lead a healthy lifestyle.    This broad and balanced curriculum ensures the requirements of the EYFS Curriculum and National Curriculum are met.  We provide opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness.

Extra Curricular P.E. Activities

All children at Marden Primary Academy have the opportunity to take part in a range of extra-curricular PE activities.

The children will also get opportunities to compete in several HMFA tournaments including Netball, Tag Rugby, Football and Athletics. In addition to this they will also compete against other Herefordshire schools at regional tournaments.
