Class 3’s Caerleon Visit

page-4-drawing

Class 3 went on a wonderful trip to Caerleon as part of our history topic exploring Roman Britain. Caerleon was the site of a huge Roman settlement including a barracks, an amphitheatre and parts of the town also display Roman features, such as the Roman bathhouse which was an important aspect of Roman lifestyle. We had an incredible tour guide who was a real Roman soldier! In the afternoon he even taught us how to march like a Roman soldier and we got to dress up like him too!
