Moving Targets 2022

Spring Blossom Haikus
Our Japanese inspired day looked at the springtime festival of Hanami, which celebrates the fleeting beauty of spring flowers. Class 4 used descriptive vocabulary to each write a Haiku, put it to music and finally added percussion sound effects to bring all elements together before a final, group performance.
Incredible India
Class 3 have been investigating India’s climate, physical and human geography. We explored the major mountains and rivers that dictate India’s population and climate patterns, located major cities and investigated the human and physical features found there. We finished the topic by exploring India’s culture and comparing India to the United Kingdom.
