Remembrance Day 2023

Marden Primary Academy remembered and honoured our armed forces on Friday. Children created poppies, joined in a live Remembrance Day assembly with thousands of other schools around the country and created a display to share this with the our community.

A Viking workshop in Class 4

Class 4 thoroughly enjoyed their Viking workshop today. They investigated the Vikings as raiders and traders which brought their history topic to life.

Art in Class 2R

In our art topic, we have been exploring the primary colours and what happens when we mix them together. We created our own pieces of artwork inspired by the artist Jasper Johns and his painting ‘0 through 9’.

Our Wonderful School Council

On Wednesday 18th October, this dedicated group of children showed prospective parents around our school for Open Day.  They spoke proudly of their school and were a real credit.  They are now wearing their new school council badges with pride thanks to Maren Hayes who kindly offered to fund them.

Forest Schools for Class 2

Class 1 and 2 at the Pumpkin Patch

Class 1 have settled in wonderfully

The Magic Porridge Pot
