Marvellous Maps with Class 2

In geography this week, we have been using observational skills to study the geography of the school and the local area. We used ordinance survey maps, and online maps, to take note of the features we found. We also looked at symbols that could be used for different features.

Class 2’s Landscapes and Cityscapes

In Class 2’s summer term art topic, they are exploring landscapes and cityscapes, painted by famous artists. This week, the children have been introduced to the Impressionist artist, Claude Monet. They used their fingers to paint colourful garden landscapes, cotton buds to add finer detail, and finally paintbrushes to add a bright blue sky.
Programming Bee-Bots with Class 2
