This Friday sees the end of our Book Month which was hugely successful. From an inspiring storyteller, to reading buddies, to book writing, to an incredible illustrator, to World Book Day…the children have loved it all. In collaboration with our wonderful PTFA, who supported every part, we hope it will become an annual event and grow each year. Here is a snap shot of some of the events.
Now, let’s not stop here! Reading is a key that unlocks an understanding of the whole world. Reading to/with your child for just 20 mins everyday exposes them to approximately 1.8 million words a year which also in turn gives them vocabulary, tools and ideas to become fantastic writers…so let’s continue to read!
