Year 4 & 5’s School Sleepover

page-3-drawing

This week, the children from year 4 and 5 attended a sleepover at our school. We all great fun cleaning the classrooms, sorting our bags, and making our beds. Once that was done, the fun began with a rounders match, year 4 vs year 5. We managed to dodge the downpours because just as the rain came Mrs Morgan returned with our chip supper. After supper, we were able to go outside again as the rain had stopped and we played the scientist game. At the end of the game, we all got to drink the radioactive nuclear waste (fruit shoots) that we had been looking for. We came inside and put our pyjamas on ready to watch a film. We watched Snow White on the big screen in Miss Phillip’s classroom, accompanied by an assortment of teddies and cushions. At the interval, just like at the theatre, we all had a lolly and some homemade popcorn. After a couple of attempts, we all settled down for a good nights’ sleep. In the morning, we woke up early enough to pack up all of our things before breakfast which was cooked by Mrs Johnson, and much appreciated. Although we are a little tired, we all agreed that has been great fun!
