VE Day 80th Anniversary

On Thursday 8th May, the whole school celebrated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. Despite the chilly weather, the children still enjoyed a picnic lunch together but in the hall. They each made poppies for our display to remember the people that gave their lives in the conflict. In classrooms, the children participated in a variety of activities to learn and understand more about the day. All of the children have had a lovely week marking this occasion.
