Super Scientists in Year 2

Year 2 have been busy scientists this half term having conducted lots of exciting experiments! They have investigated how sound travels along string telephones, how white light can be split into a spectrum of colours when passed through a prism, they have found out about how germs can be transmitted and how important hand washing is to stop transmission and how gravity acts on falling objects. The children made predictions, collected results and drew conclusions- just like proper scientists! Well Done Year 2!
