On Tuesday 26th September, the whole school celebrated Languages Day. Everyone brought in words and phrases in different languages and we shared them with each other and used them throughout the day.
We discovered all of the different languages that were spoken in our school. There were 15 different languages! We used our maths skills to create graphs and pie charts to share this information.
We even had some parents who sent videos in so that we could learn to pronounce the phrases correctly. We are trying to use the phrases regularly to answer the register and greet people. It was really fun to learn different languages and celebrate the ones we have in our school.
