Enrichment Activities

Marden Primary Academy makes fantastic use of outside visitors and educational visits to enrich the

curriculum that is offered to the children. We believe that first hand experiences reinforce learning

and have a profound effect on a child’s personal development.

Throughout their school life with us, children will participate in a wide range of experiences linked to

their work in school e.g visits to Caerleon Roman Baths, Birmingham Sealife Centre, Multi-faith

event, Hereford Music Services, Circus Skills Workshop.

Some activities are planned to promote the all-round development of the children e.g. residential

visits to London, Woodlands Activity Centre and Llansteffan Activity Centre. We also take great

pleasure in working with other schools from across the federation on exciting experiences such as

the Moving Targets Dance Project which culminates in a performance at the Courtyard Theatre and

the Young Voices choir performance at Birmingham Arena.
